LearnDash for Beginners - Set up your Training Website

LearnDash is a plugin for WordPress that enables you to set up an online training website relatively easy. In this programme, I will walk you through the basic steps of setting up your training website on LearnDash and WordPress.

After completing this programme you will be able to:

Install WordPress - you will know how to go around organising your web hosting, getting you a domain name, installing  WordPress, finding a hosting provider. 

Install the LearnDash Plugin - you will learn how to  access your WordPress dashboard and add new plugins, including the LearnDash plugin.

Install a LearnDash-Compatible Theme and Configure Theme Settings - you will learn how to customise your site's design  (colours, typography, header, and footer settings.) using the WordPress Customiser.

Create Your First Course in LearnDash - you will learn how to do this using a demo course and then you will set up your course's content, sections, lessons, and quizzes.

Install Elementor website builder and Design Core Pages for your website - You will create essential pages like Home, About, and Contact.

Create a Course Page with Course Grid Plugin  - You will install and use the LearnDash Course Grid add-on to display multiple courses.

Create Your Login and Registration Page - Create a custom login/registration page using LearnDash or a plugin of your choise like LoginPress or Theme My Login.

Create Custom Navigation Menus for Guests and Students-  Use the Nav Menu Roles plugin to create custom menus for different user groups.

Set Up WooCommerce to Accept Payments and Add Products - You will install WooCommerce and integrate it with LearnDash for processing your  payments. You will also create WooCommerce products and link them with courses.
